Connect The Dots is offering a summer program geared towards sensory friendly group activities to form friendships and increase independence in age appropriate life skills. Three group classes are offered according to age, preschool, young elementary and young teenagers.
Preschool Dots
Class Description:
Sensory rich activities designed to provide fun, therapeutic opportunities for making new friends and developing important social skills. The goals of the program are to develop fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory integration skills, and social skills for everyday life. Activities will be planned based on weekly themes that are exciting and motivating to the children. All activities are designed by the occupational therapist to promote gross motor, fine motor, visual motor and cognitive skill development in a fun filled, sensory rich environment.

Elementary Dots
Class Description:
This program is focused on increasing problem solving skills and motor planning in exciting new situations. Classes will be based on age appropriate pretend play themes, such as going to the market, a birthday party or a baseball game. Classes are structured to increase fine and visual motor skills, as well as creating situations to talk about and work on executive functions such as organization and self monitoring.

Teenagers Dots
Class Description:
This is a unique opportunity for your teenagers to work on appropriate social skills and relationships within day to day life situations. Program will include short field trips in the neighborhood to the library, parks, restaurants and markets to work on skills such as money management and transportation. Students will plan out their trips, practice interactions such as applying for library cards, and purchasing snacks.

Super Soccer Stars Special Needs Classes
Super Soccer Stars Special Needs is a unique program created exclusively for children with developmental disabilities, accommodating children with ADD, autism, Down's syndrome, and other forms of PDDNOS. With a maximum of two children per coach, the program helps children incorporate into their lives much needed notions of structure and task completion through entertaining and engaging soccer activities. Our unique age-specific, special needs curricula is designed by a combination of early childhood, behavioral, ABA and soccer specialists to ensure that each child is learning, building self – confidence, enhancing social skills, and having a blast from the first moment on.
